Welcome American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) coaches!

AABC has partnered with the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) to provide online training and certification for AABC coaches beginning May 2009. As the exclusive coaching education provider to AABC, ASEP is offering the AABC-branded Coaching Youth Baseball: The AABC Way online course to the organization’s 25,000-plus youth coaches. The course carries the endorsement of AABC, and AABC coaches are strongly urged to take the course.

"The ability for the AABC to join forces with ASEP continues to provide excellent training for all of our youth coaches," says Richard Neely, AABC president. "We are never too old to learn, and when it is for the kids, why would you not do it? The high level of quality training available online will ensure the mission of the AABC is obtained."

A coach achieves AABC level 1 certification by completing the online course, which is priced at $19.95. The course includes the e-Book Coaching Youth Baseball, Third Edition which is provided as reading material within the course. Coaches are prompted to read portions of the book and complete interactive activities, checklists, and evaluations while working their way through the course.
