Welcome American Public University and American Military University students!
The American Sport Education Program (ASEP) is pleased to work with APUS in offering the ASEP Coaching Principles online course to students. Credit can be earned by taking the online course, documenting passing the test, completing written assignments, completing each weekly module, and through regular posting on the discussion board to questions posed each week by your instructor, Brian Freeland, as well as those by ASEP. The ASEP final test must be completed by week 8 of the online class.
Courses are offered continuously at APUS in an eight-week format with new course offerings beginning monthly. Students will have the opportunity to explore the fundamental knowledge of coaching athletics in the twenty-first century. This course will focus on the principles of coaching, behavior, teaching, physical training, and management.
It is recommended that you do a print screen of your final test score for documentation. A minimum of 80 percent is required to pass the test and to be eligible for certification.
