BYF has adopted the American Sport Education Program's coaching education courses as part of the requirement for becoming a head coach, assistant head coach, or staff coach in BYF tackle and flag programs.
Coaches should purchase the appropriate course below for the coach level. Coaches should complete the course prior to their first TCYFL game. Once a coach has completed the course, he or she can print and/or e-mail a transcript from the ASEP National Coaches Registry as proof of completion for reimbursement by BYF for the cost of the course.

Coaching Football Technical and Tactical Skills course - This course is designed to help coaches learn how to teach the technical and tactical skills of football and is suitable for high school coaches, serious club coaches, undergraduate students, and advanced coaches at the youth level.
Coaching Youth Football Online Course 4th Edition - PDF - The Coaching Youth Football book is delivered as a series of PDF downloads within the course. Coaches are prompted to read excerpts prior to completing online course units and activities, and can print the PDF for hard-copy reference.
