Welcome Bulldog Youth Sports coaches!
Our organization has adopted the American Sport Education Program’s (ASEP) coaching courses as part of the requirement for becoming a coach in the Bulldog Youth Sports program.
Coaches should purchase the appropriate course listed below and complete the course prior to the first day of practice. Once the course has been completed he or she can print a copy or receive a transcript via e-mail from the ASEP National Coaches Registry as proof of completion.

Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches
Currently all coaches are required to complete the Coaching Youth Football Fourth Edition online course prior to assuming any coaching duties. As an alternative it is recommended that coaches complete the Illinois High School Association version of ASEP’s Coaching Principles course, as the completion of this course will be a requirement for all head coaches in the near future.

Coaching Essentials - PDFCoaching Essentials is a sport-neutral course geared toward coaches of athletes age 13 and under participating in a recreational, noncompetitive setting. Coaches will come away from the course with a solid understanding of fundamental coaching concepts and basic coaching responsibilities. |
