Welcome National Catholic Youth Organization Sports (NCYOS) coaches!

The American Sport Education Program (ASEP) is proud to partner with NCYOS in developing and delivering customized coaching education online courses for NCYOS coaches.

Coaches as "Facilitators of Faith"
Athletics provide our youth a positive environment in which to grow physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. The responsibility of fostering an environment in which athletes can mature in these areas often rests with the coach. Coaches are presented a unique opportunity to use the playing field as a mission field—to be a "Facilitator of Faith" in developing and furthering athletes’ Christian character and values.

NCYOS Coaches Education Program
To help provide coaches with competencies necessary to be up to the task, the National Catholic Youth Organization Sports (NCYOS) has partnered with the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) to provide online training and certification for our organization’s coaches.

As the exclusive coaching education provider to NCYOS, ASEP has designed customized online coaching courses incorporating faith-based content developed by NCYOS. The courses carry the endorsement of NCYOS, and we strongly urge our coaches to participate. The courses include:
