Trinidad and Tobago Karate Federation

Welcome Trinidad and Tobago Karate Federation coaches!

The American Sport Education Program (ASEP) is proud to partner with TTKF to offer ASEP coaching education courses to karate coaches.

TTKF has adopted the ASEP Bronze Level certification as its standard for coaching education. The TTKF Coaching Education Program is required of all coaches as described in the TTKF by-laws. The TTKF coaching education requirements consist of the following courses:

  • Coaching Principles (online or classroom course)
  • Sport First Aid (online or classroom course)
  • TTKF Technical Coach Course (to be developed by TTKF)
  • CPR/AED for Coaches or equivalent CPR certification

To register for ASEP Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid online courses, click on the corresponding online course icon in the table below. To participate in a classroom course, contact TTKF for a schedule of upcoming clinics. Coaching Principles

Coaching Principles covers the fundamentals of being a successful coach. Each year, more than 20,000 high school, club sport, and Olympic coaches take this course to further their professional development and meet certification requirements.

Instructor-Led Classroom Course With Print Materials This course is offered in a classroom setting led by certified instructors from ASEP partner organizations.

Sport First Aid - 4th Edition

Newly revised and updated, this fourth edition of the course provides coaches and students with clear guidelines on what’s expected of them as first responders, as well as action steps for the care and prevention of more than 110 athletic injuries and illnesses.
