School Districts

ASEP has been providing coaching education courses and resources to state high school associations for more than 15 years. Currently, 40 state associations use the ASEP Professional Coaches Education Program Bronze Level in whole or in part to credential high school coaches.

In 2003, the first course for the NFHS Officials Education Program, NFHS Officiating Principles, was launched. The first sport-specific officiating methods course, NFHS Officiating Softball, was released November 2004, with subsequent courses for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, track & field and cross country now available. An officiating wrestling course will be completed by the end of 2006.

All of our courses provide high quality learning experiences with excellent texts and video supplements. Study guides are available online and for classroom use. A variety of books and videos on many sports and sport sciences are also available.

ASEP works with each school district individually to tailor a program for its individual needs. These programs sometime include locally developed supplemental material and assessments. This assures that your coaches and officials know the regulations applicable in your district.

ASEP backs all this content with excellent customer service: program consulting, testing, certification, fulfillment, and much more. Our National Coaches Registry and National Officials Registry track courses taken and credentials earned. Our partners can reduce recordkeeping and run reports to identify certified individuals.
