As you see from your book, you have six major responsibilities as a coach, and they're all of similar importance. Many beginning coaches have difficult first seasons because they have a rough time dealing with all these various responsibilities. For example, a person might have a great deal of knowledge about the rules of baseball but run into problems when communicating with players and parents. Every coach faces unique challenges.
