Technical Requirements and Set-up Specifications

This course was designed to work best when your computer and Internet browser are configured per the following technical requirements and setup specifications.

• Internet connection: 56K modem or better
• Browser specifications:
  • Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, or 6.0 (5.1 or 6.0 for Mac)
  • Netscape Navigator 4.78, 4.79, or 6.2 (4.79 or 6.2 for Mac)
  • Browser window expanded to its maximum width and height
  • Any unused toolbars at the top and bottom of your browser window closed
• Monitor preferences: Computer monitor preferences set for 640 x 480 resolution or larger with a minimum of 256 colors ("high color" or "thousands of colors" is best)
