Technical Requirements and Set-up Specifications

This course was designed to work best when your computer and Internet browser are configured per the following technical requirements and setup specifications:

• Internet connection: 56K modem or better
• Browser specifications:
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher (5.1 or higher for Mac)
  • Netscape Navigator 6.2 or higher (6.2 or higher for Mac)
  • Browser window expanded to its maximum width and height
  • Any unneeded toolbars at the top and bottom of your browser window closed
• Computer monitor: 800 x 600 resolution or better, 256 colors minimum ("high color" or "thousands of colors" is recommended)
• The Macromedia Flash Player plug-in version 6 or higher must be installed. Download the Flash Player plug-in.
• Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5 or higher must be installed to view the PDF components of this course. Download Acrobat Reader.
• In addition to a sound card, either speakers or headphones are required to hear the audio portions of the course. However, it's possible to complete the course without audio.
