Tammy does fairly well on the varsity team, but her immaturity causes problems for the other athletes. They often feel distracted by her childish antics, and team cohesion drops. Tammy tells you that she feels alienated from her teammates.
Tammy is disappointed that she didn't make the varsity team, but she does well on the junior varsity team and even helps demonstrate some of the techniques that you teach.
Tammy is disgruntled that she only made the junior varsity II team. Although she has about the same emotional maturity as other athletes on this team, she feels bored playing with athletes below her skill level and ends up quitting after the first few practices.
Tammy is in shock about not making a team. She withdraws from friends and pouts for days in protest. She never plays any other sports and does not participate in extracurricular activities.
