Generate ASEP ID Numbers for Classroom Coaches or Students

Anyone who takes an ASEP course is required to have a 9-digit ID number for tracking and documenting course completion in our database. (Note: The ID number is not the same as the key code).

From this page, you have the ability to generate ID numbers that you’ll assign to the coaches or students who attend your classroom courses. We recommend you generate your ID numbers in advance as you’ll assign them on the first day of your course. Your coaches or students will enter the number assigned to them on their test form (whether they are taking the test hard copy or online).

As an instructor, you are likewise required to enter your students’ or coaches’ ID numbers on the course report form that you’ll submit to ASEP after your course has been completed. This means you’ll need to document which ID number you’ve given to which student or coach. To avoid test-processing delays, it is imperative that the ID number the coach or student enters on his or her test form is the same as the number you have recorded on your course report form for that individual.

Each individual has only one ID number. If you are an ASEP Certified Instructor teaching both Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid at the same clinic, the ID number for each coach should be the same on both course report forms. Likewise, your coaches will use the same ID number on both of their test forms.
