From this area, you have the ability to generate ASEP ID numbers for coaches/students who attend your clinics.
Each coach/student who takes an ASEP course is required to have a nine-digit ID number for tracking and documenting course completion in our database. (Note: the ID number is not the same as the key code each coach or student receives.) On the first day of your clinic, please let your coaches/students know that they have a choice of using their Social Security Number or to have an ID number assigned to them. Be sure that if a coach/student opts to have an ID assigned, he or she makes note of it.
As an instructor, you are required to enter this number (either ID or Social Security Number) for each coach on your course report form prior to submitting to ASEP. Individual coaches in turn enter the same number on their test scan form (if taking the paper-pencil test) or on the ASEP website, if taking the test online. To avoid test-processing delays, it is imperative that the number the coach enters on his or her test form is the same as the number you have recorded on your course report form.
Each coach has only one ID number. If you are teaching both Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid at the same clinic, the ID number for each coach should be the same on both course report forms. Likewise, coaches/students will use the same ID number on both of their test forms.
